At Pinpoint Web Hosting, we are aware that this can often be hard & time–consuming. For this reason, we will accomplish all that for you for free!Our professional technical staff members will migrate your web site content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our techs have broad experience migrating websites and are able to take care of everything – from an average WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™ web site, to a very elaborate, custom–built web application.

A: We try to perform all web site migrations as fast as possible. Even so, we don’t have a fixed time frame for website migrations. There are several aspects that you need to take into account – the very size of your website and the workload of our website migration staff, etc. We constantly try to implement each migration in under 48 hours. With smaller–sized sites, our staff usually manages to finish in under 24 hours.

A: We do not need any sensitive data. We’ll require, however, the login info for your old hosting account as well as the name of the site that you would like to move.

A: Customer privacy is one of our greatest concerns – that is why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–class digital certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial operations to secure the data that we obtain online. A: No. Your website will continue to be online during the migration. Once everything is completed on our end, we’ll notify you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything is fine, all you will have to do is change your domain name’s DNS settings.

A: While we migrate your website content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t contact them in any way.

A: We can migrate your website from any hosting provider or any Linux–driven hosting platform given that we can get access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only websites that we cannot migrate are those based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
